Could blogs change your life for the better?

In fact, could blogs change your life in any significant manner? With blogging, the style of the communications is usually so free that the risk is for many people – still stuck in more ceremonial, or at least more reserved, manners of conversing when in an area as open and as wide as the online space is – to take it as not serious. However, most of the bloggers would contradict one that would state such a thing. Why would bloggers do this? The reason is plain and obvious, if you only look at the multitude of blogs created in the span of just a few years: when they write a blog, bloggers take this action very seriously.
Why do they take it very seriously? Well, the first reason is that most of them are blogging on issues that are rather personal. Of course, some may be posting all sorts of blog posts out of pure financial interest: one can make money from such an activity. Nevertheless, generally, irrespective of the reason, earnestness is necessary, because the topics approached in the blog posts coincide with the different interests of the different visitors. Following the logical thread of the discussion, one needs to inquire about the reasons of the blog visitors to allocate importance to such posts.
Actually, their reasons make blogging such a weighty factor in the online environment. A blog would be a mere piece of writing – another page of a journal unread by a second pair of eyes, with the exception that another party does host it, even though it does not read it – among all the others pieces of writing out there, with no consequence, if it did not have so many readers. The fact alone that visitors engage in the discussions triggered, for instance, by a controversy on a weight loss product, is sufficient to underline the fact that such a blog entry has produced some change in their life or at least at the level of their reactions. If, up to this point, they did not have the guts to speak out their thoughts, now, blog visitors, feel encouraged.
What exactly encourages them? First, you have the personal tone of the blog post; it can be inspirational. Second, the topic discussed is likely to strike a sensitive chord with the reader who is now doubly stimulated to share his or her opinion. Third, encouragement comes from other comments posted. In this manner, blogging is an activity that influences people to state whatever they are thinking to what concerns certain subjects. This can determine major changes in one’s attitude. However, the entire thing does not stop at the sharing of opinions.
On the contrary, the topics approached in blogs are the main triggers of improvement in one’s life. As we all know it, bloggers choose often to review products or services. People tend to trust such reviews, because they usually have at the basis the blogger’s personal experience with the product or service. Furthermore, the aspect that leads to the improvement of one’s life at a more emotional level is in the close connections that have a chance to develop in a blogging community. Indeed, blogs are likely to create relationships; some very close may even develop in friendships. I think it would be superfluous to insist on the improvements that close friendships can generate in one’s life.
